CARDFLOW

Terms of Service.

Effective date: July 21, 2026

1. About CardFlow

CardFlow is a macOS application developed and operated by CHAN HO FUNG, a sole proprietor based in Hong Kong (“we”, “us”, or “our”). You can contact us at [email protected].

2. The product

CardFlow is professional camera-card offloading software for photographers, videographers, and DITs. It copies media from camera cards or folders to selected destinations and can provide xxHash64 verification, duplicate skipping, camera identification, History records, and—depending on the licence tier—DIT card-structure preservation, ASC MHL v2 manifests, and PDF offload reports.

The software is licensed, not sold.

3. Licence and activations

After purchase, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use CardFlow for your own personal or business work. A Standard licence may be activated on one Mac. A Pro licence may be activated on up to two Macs at the same time.

To move a licence to another Mac beyond the activation limit, contact [email protected]. You must not share, resell, transfer, publish, or distribute your licence key.

Standard includes verified offloading, duplicate skipping, camera identification, folder sources, and History. Pro includes all Standard features plus DIT Mode, ASC MHL v2 manifests and chain-of-custody records, and PDF offload reports. Your purchased tier is shown at checkout and in your licence email.

4. Free trial

A new installation includes a 14-day trial of Pro features. When the trial ends, you must activate a valid licence to start new offloads. Existing History remains accessible. Features available after activation depend on the licence tier you purchase.

5. Payments and taxes

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and related transaction support. Paddle's buyer terms and policies also apply to the purchase.

Prices are displayed at checkout in US dollars or a supported local equivalent. CardFlow licences are sold as one-time purchases unless the checkout page expressly states otherwise.

6. Refunds

If CardFlow is not working as expected, contact [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. We will help troubleshoot the issue and, where appropriate, process a refund through Paddle in accordance with applicable law and Paddle's buyer terms.

7. Updates and compatibility

Your licence includes application updates that we make available for the licensed product. We do not guarantee any specific feature, release schedule, or period of operating-system compatibility. Future macOS changes may require an updated version of CardFlow. A new licence includes one year of application updates from the date of purchase. To continue receiving updates after that period, renew at trycardflow.com for a reduced annual fee (currently US$19 for Standard, US$29 for Pro). Your licence itself does not expire and continues to unlock the features you purchased even if you do not renew — only new application updates require renewal.

8. Your responsibilities

CardFlow is a data-handling tool. You are responsible for selecting the correct source and destination, maintaining sufficient storage capacity, and keeping independent backups of important media. Before formatting or erasing a source card, confirm that the required files have been copied, verified, and backed up to your satisfaction.

You must use CardFlow in compliance with applicable law and with any obligations you owe to clients, employers, productions, or rights holders.

9. Prohibited use

You must not circumvent licence controls, interfere with the service, redistribute the software, or reverse-engineer CardFlow except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits.

10. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardFlow is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from the use of CardFlow. Our total liability arising from or relating to the software, a licence, or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant licence.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service when the product, our business, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use of CardFlow after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these terms or CardFlow, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
